The dentist said that the packing would either fall out or would be removed during the next check up in a few days.
because i have a packing in my wisdom tooth extraction I can see the hole that the packing is in getting smaller, will the hole close around the packing making it more difficult to remove by the dentist? or am i better off trying to remove it on my own before the check up?

If you are feeling better,Let the dentist take it out and check your progress., he(she) will leave it out and don¡¯t repack it. The socket will heal faster once the packing is removed.k
