Well first I think it would be good to call their doctor and try to get them to check them in the hospital. Also to get admission I think there has to be something going on they can treat. Otherwise I think you could maybe get a doctor to admit them.
IF they are very sick with cancer and are terminal( I hope they are not). A lot of times a hospice is recommended I think or home care I think. Well known some ppl that wanted to be home.
But calling an ambulance if the problem is severe will get you faster care at the hospital and having your doctor meet you would help too.
Maybe a nurse or some would could answer this better. Wish them and you the best.
