I got tested for allergies and they kind of tested me by sticking around 50plus needles of different known food stuff on either fore arms. They also told me that I was very allergic to peanuts and which happens to be my favorite. The final conclusion was that I was allergic to 90% of food stuff. In your case it could possibly be that they must be testing you for all toxins derived from edible nuts.
