According to my professors in medical school the critical point to start treating fever is 103 farenheit. Otherwise, it is safe to let it burn. You see, this is one way to let the body take some of the resources that the pathogen would like to use, out of their hands. Enzymes denature at higher temperatures...enzymes that the bacteria or viruses use to reproduce or create toxins.

If you decide to treat your fever you should use the classic anti-pyretics (anti-fever). Tylenol for instance. Dont use too much. Monitor your fever and if it gets too high then go to the emergency room.
