Well, Brain tumors are not good as a general rule. My son had diffuse intrinsic pontine glioma. It was in his brain stem. So it affected his breathing, his walking, ect.. but was able to always think clearly. He was fully aware of what was happening to him. I have know people to survive brain tumors. There is also a difference between brain cancer, and brain tumors. Most brain tumors are not maglignant. But treated as such. There is an excellant book call the primer for brain tumors. It is online. It explains all the types of brain tumors.
