Best answer: I thought that this type of conjunctivitis was caused by Diptheria, or from eye surgery. Never heard of many people in the states having this but alot of this in Africa. Never heard of it with allergies but maybe if you google maybe you

I thought that this type of conjunctivitis was caused by Diptheria, or from eye surgery. Never heard of many people in the states having this but alot of this in Africa. Never heard of it with allergies but maybe if you google maybe you can find out more about this and if it is really caused by allergies? I have terrible mucous and take prednisone drops once a day then twice a day I take Optivar. But the doctor never spoke or ever wrote down that as a diagnosis for eye allergies. My family is terribly allergic and we even have to take prednisone ear drops from the allergens in the air. Are you sure this was caused from allergies? I will try and learn more and add if I can find out anything about this. Sorry. Well I went and looked this up and they say it
