I was recently diagnosed with mono and my dr. gave me amoxicllin. 9 days after taking it I broke out in the most severe rash I have ever seen in my life. I have it from the bottom of my neck all the way down to the tops of my feet. It itches like cra
I was recently diagnosed with mono and my dr. gave me amoxicllin. 9 days after taking it I broke out in the most severe rash I have ever seen in my life. I have it from the bottom of my neck all the way down to the tops of my feet. It itches like crazy. I am currently taking steriods and benadryl, but both seem to be doing nothing. Has anyone ever had this problem or known someone that this has happened to? If you have any help please let me know! Thank you!

I think it has to be waiting game. The system should totally get rid of the drug and it takes a little time. You are on antihistamine
