Everytime you stretch your ligaments/tendons they never go back to the same length. They do not constist of the same tissue as muscle cells. The scar tissue is hard and it will never function the same either. It is best to use knee, ankle, elbow braces if you plan to be in anything with a high activity level to help your joints out. Always streach really good before AND after a high level of activity to get maximum performance and proper oxygen to the muscles and joints. I hope this helps
