I would see a doctor to have it removed. I stepped on a toothpick once and knew I didnt get it all the way out, but thought it would work its way out to the surface. About 2 years later I woke up one day and my foot was the size of a basketball. I ended up in the ER having surgery to remove it on a painfully infected foot they couldnt get numb due to the infection. I had a drain in my foot for 2 weeks to let the infection drain out, had to be on antibiotics an dmissed work cause I couldnt walk. Looking back I caused myself a lot of pain and money by ignoring the problem.
