post op nausea PLEASE help.?
I had surgery today, and just as I thought, I have post op nausea. it is so bad ,if i drink or eat anything I get these horrible waves of nausea. does anyone have any ideas how to control this? my doctor is not able to be reached. thank you in advanc

i find it scary that your surgeon cannot be reached!! you just had surgery today and may have more serious complications-there has to be some way of reaching him/her. if they do have an answering service-call them as many times as it takes to reach your dr.
nausea is common after surgery b/c alot of people do not handle the anesthesia well-it
