I would like some infromation about prozac, and seroquel. Long term use and side effects. I have a family member thats on both medications and Xanax. He has memory loss. He gets up in the middle of the night cooks food-Doesnt eat it and goes back to
I would like some infromation about prozac, and seroquel. Long term use and side effects. I have a family member thats on both medications and Xanax. He has memory loss. He gets up in the middle of the night cooks food-Doesnt eat it and goes back to sleep. Not even knowing that he did it? Nobody has Diagnosed him with a particular disease. They have said, anxiety, depression, and I dont know whats going on with him. He has been seeing a psychatrist for the past 4 months and still no change. Can anyone please help with this situation? Anyone ever taken These medications-Xanax,Seroquel,Val... did you have certain side effects?

My brother is mentally ill and it took years for his illness to come under control. Four months with a psychiatrist is a pretty short time. It will take months and months for the medications to start showing real improvement. The doctor is probably still trying to find the right medications and dosage to help your family member. Then your family member has to be diligent in taking the prescribed course.
This is a fairly long process and I admire that you are concerned and wanting answers. The psychiatrist is your best resource to talk with. They know the patient and the history. They also need to know what
