Withdraws from medications?
Ok so last week, Thursday (its now sunday) my DR desided to change my meds. He has lowered my neurotin from 800 mgs 3xs a day to 60 mgs 3xs a day, taken me off of the 75 mgs of effexor, and started me on 150 mgs of welbutrin. NOW I am dizzy, I sleep
Ok so last week, Thursday (its now sunday) my DR desided to change my meds. He has lowered my neurotin from 800 mgs 3xs a day to 60 mgs 3xs a day, taken me off of the 75 mgs of effexor, and started me on 150 mgs of welbutrin.
NOW I am dizzy, I sleep like crap, my muscles hurt, I have headaches, cant concentrate, Im irratable, and I throw up, especially when I smoke.
Does anyone know if this is withdraws from the effexor or side effects of the wellbutrin? When will this stop? When will everything be back to normal? >

Yea my Dr said that the Wellbutrin would do the same thing as the neurotine and effexor and since I was taking only 75 mgs of the effexor I could just stop taking it. PS I am also taking xanax, but that has stayed the same, no changes for the xanax is annticipated.
I think I am going to call him Tues. to ask him about a lower dosage of Effexor. But I am also wondering that since I have had no effexor for 4 days or so if I should just push through it?
We changed my meds in the 1st place bc of several reasons, one was that over the last 4-5 years I have gained app. 100 lbs bc of the meds and lately I have been depressed, I stay in bed and in my pjs most of the day, Ive been manic and I just fell like crap all the time. My self esteem in at 0%. So Im glad we are changing he meds. I just wasnt sure if these feelings of sickness is normal.
