My grandmother is about 85 .Her platelet was low for many years (below 100.000). About 1 year ago she pull out 9 teeth which needs local anaesthetic. She used metronidazole and amoxicillin which caused general weakness and lack of appetite. After tha
My grandmother is about 85 .Her platelet was low for many years (below 100.000). About 1 year ago she pull out 9 teeth which needs local anaesthetic. She used metronidazole and amoxicillin which caused general weakness and lack of appetite. After that, a lot of red spots appeared on shanks (that looked like contusion) without any rash. Then, their color changed to brown. Recently, some spots appeared on the arms. There is no problem with liver or skin and the last number of platelet was 138.000. We don¡¯t know what the problem is. I took a photo of the spots; if you want I will send it to you.
Now she uses prednisolone (because of chronic headache), omeprazol and atenolol for other diseases; the spots appeared before using them.
