I am a volunteer, for 10 years, for a charity (NGO) of parents whose children have cancer, from Romania. I was and I am responsive among many other things for getting funds for our projects / activities.
We want to create a camp/ respite house for the ill children and their families (where they can get free holidays)and to get a microbus for them; we wish also to create a councelling and information centre for parents and patients and to print medical booklets; we wish also to get more support for other programms that we are running already. also, we need to help them more for getting medicines when they are missing from hospitals and to give more material support for the families; You may see our website: www.asociatiapavel.home.ro
Does somebody have information about different sources for funding for our work? I wish to know clear information: names of organizations who are funding such of work, or of companies,...

Drug companies are a good place to start. Find out what some drugs are, and who makes them. Contact the company, they may be eager to fund something like this in turn for free advertising
