Can PCOS with hormonal imbalance be diagnosised after a complete hysterectomy?
I had a hysto (ovaries, tubes, uterus and cervix) 2.5 years ago. I have risk factors for PCOS. I have had elevated testosterone for 5 months. Could PCOS be diagnosised as the cause of excessive hormones despite the surgery? Best answer: I have PCOS b I had a hysto (ovaries, tubes, uterus and cervix) 2.5 years ago.

Best answer:
I have PCOS but I have not undergone hysto. I doubt that you can be diagonised of PCO after the sugrery. It may be a normal hormonal imbalance because of the removal of the reproductive organs that regulate the hormones.
A wonderful question, I too need to know about it as I have the same ailment. Keep it coming dear...Good luck..
