Around 6 months ago I went on a Caribbean holiday and slapped on lots of tanning lotion, factor 30 to stop myself burning. I put the lotion on all round my face but "avoided the eye area" as suggested on the bottle, and ended up with burnt eyes! At the time it was funny to have to rings round my eyes but now, because the skin is so sensitive, it turns pink and stands out whenever my face gets hot or whenever the blood rushes to my skin, and it looks rank!
